The short version: we ask for one thing, an email address, and we use it for one thing, sending you the newsletter. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it for anyone else's marketing.

Who is responsible

The Guru Letter is published by Guru Real Estate L.L.C — S.P.C, Abu Dhabi, which is the data controller for your subscription. Subscribing to the letter does not make you a client, and your address is never added to any other list we keep.

What we collect

• Your email address, when you type it into the subscribe form.
• Confirmation that you opted in — we add you as unconfirmed and only start sending once you click the link in the confirmation email. That record (your address and when it was added) is held by our email provider.
• Ordinary web-server logs from our host, which include IP addresses and are used to keep the site up and to stop abuse of the subscribe form.

We do not ask for your name, your location, your job, or anything about your finances. There is no account to create and no password to store.

What we don't do

• No selling, renting or sharing of your address for third-party marketing.
• No advertising trackers or analytics cookies on this site.
• No profiling, and no automated decisions about you. The newsletter is identical for every reader — it is not personalised, and nothing in it is a valuation of your property or advice on what to buy.

Who processes it

Two providers act on our behalf, and only for the purposes above: Resend (stores the subscriber list and delivers the email) and Vercel (hosts this website). Both are bound by their own data processing terms. Mail is delivered from servers in the EU.

How long we keep it

For as long as you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe, your address is marked unsubscribed and retained only so we do not accidentally re-add you. Ask us to erase it entirely and we will. Addresses that are added but never confirmed are removed when the list is next cleaned.

Your choices

• Leave at any time — every issue carries a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can reply to any issue and ask.
• Ask what we hold, correct it, export it, or have it deleted — reply to any issue, or write to the address below. We will action it, and we do not need a reason.

Our lawful basis is your consent, given by confirming your subscription. You can withdraw it at any time, and withdrawing it does not affect anything sent before then. If you are in the EU or UK and think we have got this wrong, you may complain to your national data protection authority.
